The Angourie Blue Pool was once a rock quarry that filled with underground spring water. It is a lovely spot to swim next to the ocean on the NSW central coast near a town called Yamba. Iluka is not far north from this haven. There is also a larger green pool close by between Angourie Reserve and Spooky Beach. The coastal landscape is abundant with native flora; banksia, melaleuca, tea-trees and casuarinas and surrounded by natural rock ledges and reeds.
