This is my favourite beach painting in the 2018 beach series. After placing in a lot of detailed vignettes of colours and shapes, I reworked and painted over a few areas to create more of a flow through the work. This lead to more quiet spaces in between the busyness and the I think the hot pink textural flows of paint complement the purples and blues of patterns and designs.
