Winter Overflow has a mix of both abstract and realism. One of the most difficult resolutions is trying to unify the abstract, flatness of silver leaf or patterns and shapes with 3-dimensional realistic subject matter. I think that the late Western Australian artist/painter, Robert Juniper did it very successfully and developed his own voice through the ornamental and the abstract. This work is another of my attempts at discovering the abstract through aerial-view landscape. The silver leaf that flows through the land can be interpreted as a water source or a creek bed, or walking track
